Ok, this isn't really a 'scam' more of just blatant robbery  (that's the best kind xD)
Basically, most people (9/10) will have somebody they know in real life or have met online that they feel secure enough to share accounts with. Be it for absent minded grinding, playing a different class or whatever, it doesn't matter why.
This is the best time to take advantage of a pal and pocket yourself some extra gold .gif "(6)")
While on their account, mail small portions of gold (like 100g here and there) to your account, if they get suspicious just tell them you went to an instance and had repair money (chances are they are rounding the amount of gold they have to the nearest hundred anyway).
I know that lots of people will NEVER steal from a friend, especially one as close as this - but hey, it's easy gold, am I right?
This is also a way you can claim accounts as if you were the OO, if you know enough about your pal you can steal his identity 
But, if this doesn't make any sense let me know, cos I was quite high when typing this, and i've already edited like 50 words xD...anyway, I paid for my level 80 skills this way - but then I got bored and wanted to play my main character...

On a social level, stealing from your friends and risking your friendship is incredibly stupid, not only on a mental level (losing that social interaction and trust), but also on a material level (working together with a friend will gain you much more then stealing from that friend will). |

And yes, I suggested you could do this to real life friends - I havent xD. I steal from 'friends' on WoW cos i'll likely NEVER see em, so **** em..
And don't imply that getting high is a bd thing
