Second post - scam / exploit: HORDE & ALLIANCE char on PvP realm

This is a little something I found out through the unfortunate circumstance of my account getting hacked a few years back.

All my characters (horde) on my main realm were deleted, while I waited for them to be restored I decided to create and alliance 'alt' and chatted to a few people I knew on the 'other side'

When my main horde character was restored, I found that the alliance alt I had created REMAINED and I could log into either character - horde or alliance.

The only drawback was that I could not create any additional characters, Horde or alliance.


It's possible that this was purely down to an ignorant GM... or maybe this is something that is often overlooked in the process of character restoration.
