Hey guys, I just thought I should contribute with something so here's a method I used for getting around 200 euros. After one of my guild-mate got hacked, Blizzard restored his character in about 2 days (he got hacked on sunday) so it gave me an awesome idea. What you need is :
1. A legit account. I recommend using your personal one so you can recall it fast. </br>
2. Friends/Guildmates that can loan you gold, the more you can borrow the better. </br> And for the method : </br>
1. Ask your friends / guildmates to borrow you gold, get as many gold as you can (I did it with aprox 20k) </br>
2. Get a proxy/tor/vpn (there are many guides here on how to set up one so just use search) </br>
3. Go into the worldofwarcraft account management using the proxy and change your password. </br>
4. Find a gold buying website (its easy, just google) </br>
5. Sell all the gold you have to the website. Optional : Delete the character. Use your legit paypal or you can make a deal depending on the website to get gamecards/cd keys in exchange for the gold. I got 11 Euros/1 k gold. </br>
6. Stop the proxy. </br>
7. Wait a few hours. </br>
8. Recall the password using their website. </br>
9. Log in and make a ticket : Hello, someone hacked my account and stole all my gold/deleted my character please help me out. </br> v10. They ask you to log out and they will restore the character/gold/everything. YES. To all haters who will say no way they won't restore you all your items/gold. FALSE. My friend had his bank full of enchanting mats/ uncut gems and they restored EVERYTHING. And that's when I decided to try it for myself. </br>
11. ???? </br>
12 Profit! </br>
Attention: According to their policy you can do this 3 times max ( I think). So I'd advise you to not try this more than once on the same account as you might lose it. Enjoy your easy money.

Do you think if I were to do this, and get money this way, they would not allow restoration? I don't see why the wouldn't, my account hacking was a long time ago, but I'm not sure of any "policy" for this. |

They probably check last ips on the account. @bloodyhook I am not sure, but if you already got your character restored 2-3 times i'd advise you not to try this

But since you are going to retrieve the password using the website it's likely that the GM will restore it without all the fuss, even so, it's definitely worth it Quote: |

Reputation: 10 Level up: 39%, 308 Points needed | | | Oh well it really depends on your server, I'm on a low pop one and they don't really have much gold on those that is why they will pay more depending on their gold status on your realm.  I use it some time ago it was just one of those spamming trade, they were selling gold for around 19 euros so when i talked to the guy I mentioned that too
