OK guys it has been quite a while since I have posted anything in the scams section- so here is a little review, and a twist on an older scam that I have perfected over the last couple years.
We all know that Blizzard offers a battlechest with original WoW and TBC in 1 box. and then you have to purchase Wrath Of The Lich King seperately... so heres what you do
STEP 1: GO to wal-mart and purchase a WoW battlechest
STEP 2: Go home or in your care and carefully use a tweezer or razorblade to pull up the tape and open the box- unnoticed
STEP 3: get into the box and remove the cd keys.... Write them down or use them on an account
STEP 4: Put everything back into the box and re-seal it so it doesnt look tampered with
STEP 5: Return to wal-mart with your game and the reciept
STEP 6: Tell the clerk at wal-mart that you purchased this chest for your cousin or something for his birthday, but you didnt realize that he already had that and what he wanted was the new WOTLK expansion, ask if you can exchange it for the correct game
STEP 7: Go get a WOTLK expansion pack and take back to the return desk-- they shouldnt have any problem exchanging it because you gave them a decent story and most of the clerks at wal-mart dont have a clue about WoW anyway-- look for older people or woman (no offence), but they are the least likely to know about WoW
STEP 8: Take your new WOTLK home and repeat step 2 with a razor blade or tweezers and get your new WOTLK CD key
NOW- AT THIS POINT YOUR SCAM CAN BE OVER, you have JUST GOTTEN A FREE BATTLECHEST AND PAID FOR WOTLK
OR...... you can take it to another level like I do
STEP 9: Put everything back in the box and re-seal it
STEP 10: Return to wal-mart (in my area we have several so I usually go to a different one but you dont have to necessarily)
STEP 11: Go to the returns counter and tell them that in the midst of exchanging the game for the new one, someone else already bought your cousin this game
ACT VERY UPSET AND ANNOYED AT THIS BECAUSE YOU HAVE WENT THROUGH A LOT OF WORK FOR THIS UNGRATEFUL-COUSIN THAT YOU HAVE!
STEP 12: Ask for a refund
THEY WILL EITHER GIVE YOU A CASH REFUND, OR IN SOME CASES OFFER IT IN STORE CREDIT- IN WHICH CASE YOU CAN SIMPLY PURCHASE SOMETHING ELSE WoW-Related!
I KNOW SIMILAR SCAMS HAVE BEEN POSTED IN THE PAST BY ME AND OTHERS AS WELL-- but nobody has reviewd this scam or incorporated WOTLK to my knowledge so please dont flame repost!

they can ASSUME, that you did this and refuse your return-- but walmart has NO WAy OF PROVING that the CDkey is invalid and used
who are they to say that you opened the package? just tell them you didnt, its your word against theres and the worst they can do is refuse to take the item back in which case you are no worse off than before-- you still get to keep the CDkey |

Welll.... since i dont have WOTLK i guess i could do this
another way of doing it is having ur girlfriend take it into bathroom in her purse and remove it and put it back. |

You just kinda added on WOTLK. Kinda the same as the gamecard, but the gamecard u have a scratch off thing, and so forth. But I cant complain, its a clean guide and som people wouldnt think of doing that.
