Sorry if this is a repost I just seen a couple recent RAF scams pop up and none of them as unique as this one so I decided to share my insight with you all.
what you will need:2 accounts linked with refer-a-friend status
****The Scam****
what you will need to do is powerlevel a toon to 59 with RAF and then on the account that reffered you stand in the middle of a major city (faction of your chossing) and you start granting the free levels to the toon that is level 1. the toon will go from 1-31 in less then 5min.
People will see the mass fast level gain and you will start to get PSTs on the toon that just dinged 30 times. That's when you work the "It's a hack program that I use, i've used it on 9 characters already to get them to 60 (or w/e level)". you'll get a few suckers who will want you to do it for them and will offer up their account info. I even got a couple of 70's wanting new toons leveled to 60. All in all I have done this scam TWICE and gotten in excess of 12,000g from it.
I hope this helps some of you who have a little extra time on your hands. It's not one of my longer more detailed scams but i think you get the general idea.

It helps if you hide the toon granting the levels to the other toon so like sit one toon by the mailbox infront of org bank and the other toon be hidden just on the other side of the wall in org bank. target the toon and start throwing levels at him.   |

It would be a waste of time leveling a character to level 59 and than risking both accounts by getting them banned. It is something new though! |

It is something new though! | All except if they report you for it, they will have to say they gave you the info freely then blizzard tells them that account security is THEIR responsiblity. Not to mention telling someone something is a hack and it being a hack are 2 different things. Any GM would know it was RAF.
you're not really risking ANYTHING. |

Use them for refer a friend.
Then spend about 4 days getting to 59 for the free levels to 30.

Also, weren't there alot of declarations of 'lol it's just RAF, tools!' or something similar? I'd imagine that would totally wreck your once-in-two-accounts chance of scamming through the level granting... |

Wow, I didn't dio EXACT math. No one who posts %'s does the math on them as far as this site goes.. It's mainly just rough figures, that they had from their experince. like 100% no ban chance. But people still get banned on rare occasions. Don't be such a damn nerd.
The reason this works is cause people won't publicly ask you how it was done. They will 99% (there's another rough figure %!!!!) of the time send you a PST, which is when you play the "it's a hack" card on them. Sure some people will tell you yeah right or w/e, some will threaten to report you for using a hack if you don't send them the "hack" in question. But 85-90% (ROUGH FIGURE NO HEAVY NUMBER CRUNCHING DONE) do not even think about RAF.
People may know about RAF but the free levels aspect is one of the lesser heard bout perks next to the 3x EXP and the Zherva mounts that comes with it, not to mention the RAF summon. The free levels really aren't remembered that well.
In fact my friend dinged 60 on his account forgetting he had the levels and once he dinged 60 he lost them. So if he had RAF and forgot about the levels what do you think the chances are that people without RAF are going to remember them?
Anyways you did tell me it was a good idea so for that I thank you. But don't be such a nerd next time. Technical statements like that really just rub me the wrong way... hard math? Pffft. | | |
