Ok, So this may or may not be common sense but I figure I would put it here anyways for those who may not really have that much sense.
also if this is even SLIGHTLY a repost I'm sorry.
Step 1: Find a site that buys accounts. Generally the less known companies work better for ANY type of scam against them.
Step 2: Either have a spare level 70 account or have a armory link of a random 70 account that you would like to use as bait. (it helps if said 70 is at least 3/4 epic'd)
Step 3: Goto live chat and talk with a live operator, make up some story about how you are 16 and can't get a paypal account but you have a SPARE level 70 account that you want to get rid of and would like to trade for a copy of Wrath of the Lich King. I have taken this a step further and said I wanted the collector's edition of WotLK.
*wait for them to respond or possibly they will have to ask their manager*
Step 4: If they agree to this or ask you what do you mean, simply tell them that they will pre-order the game and have it shipped to your address. Tell them you will give all information to the account and change the e-mail once you have a confirmation and or tracking number to track your order.
Step 5: If all goes like it should, they will agree since it's cheaper to buy a copy of WotLK then pay 100+ dollars for a level 70 account. Get the confirmation number, then either just DC from chat or toy with them a bit saying you changed all the info they requested and w/e.
This has worked for me twice so far. I got the Collector's edition on the way for release date as do I have a regular copy on the way.
******SPECIAL NOTE*******
This will take a bit of paientence, I went through SEVERAL unknown sites to get 2 sites that would allow this. But the pay off is pretty good if you play your cards right. ALSO THIS WILL TAKE A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF SOCIAL SKILLS. Not alot but you have to sound beilevable.

If you just wait till Wrath of the Lich King is released this can be done ALOT eaiser by just asking for the CD-Key right then and there. But up to you how you do it.

But honestly I have 3 accounts. So technically I need to do this scam one more time. LoL, that's the price you pay for having 2 personal accounts and then 1 account for your wife.
But this scam is fairly easy to pull off. The account selling sites that are trying to make a name for themselves are ALWAYS looking for a cheap deal, they do not beileve in the "to good to be true" moto.

Kinda lazy to make someone else say "confirmed" just to know if you can do it yourself personally so you can give rep.
Alternately, rep isn't a huge issue to me. LoL I am here to share. Not share for self gain. I got what I wanted from this scam before I posted it. So that's my little slice of self gain. Now I share it with the coummnity. |

They are all the way in china and japan. but then again I have a P.O. Box too. I ahve given only 2 sites ever my home address and after about a week of heckling they dropped it and moved on. Also like I said. Wait till after WotLK drops so you can just get the codes directly from live chat. either way would work though. |
