When Wrath hits, buy a copy. (This should actually work for nearly all games) Come home, install, use the key to upgrade your account. Now go back to the store and tell them something along the line of "The CD is corrupt or something, the installer bugs out at like 86%" or whatever. If you have the packaging and receipt most stores will just go get you a new copy and open it (So you can't return the game un-opened) and then send you on your way.
Voila, you've just acquired a free CD key. Give it to a friend, sell it, or use it for your RAF account.
Enjoy. I know at Wal Mart and Best Buy this will work for sure. | Donate to remove ads, get your "DONATOR title, and get access to the MMOwned community's elite Shoutbawx.

Tell them there is a scratched / broken disc, and they will give you another copy.
Be careful though, as always...

You don't "Return the game" you "Exchange it for an identical copy". Almost all stores will let you do this. |

Reputation: 25 | | | Nice, but I'm pretty sure the people working at GameStop know that WOW uses Cd-Key's...
You're only hope is Wal-Mart, but I already attempted and they didn't let me return. |

They can't tell you "It's not our fault you bought defective software" because it's from their shelves and SOMETIMES it actually happens (I've bought a few CDs that were corrupt for one reason or another).
Worse that can happen, they tell you they won't swap it or they only swap the disc. Best (And more likely), they're a moron like everyone else and just swap out your copy for a new copy, but they'll open the box before you leave so you can't return it as unopened. | | |
