I've been a leecher for too long and I thought that I'd try to make a contribution. This is my first scam, as I've never done one before, so at least hear me out.

I tried adding on to what I thought could make the scam a little better and maybe a little more detail.
Now that Blizzard has the new free character transfer, this will come into play further on. Have the free character transfer page open while you have WoW open so you can hopefully pull this off before people notice fast.
First, find a guild and try to be 70, hoping that they'll trust you more and some guilds base ranks upon levels. If you can deposit/withdraw items/gold from the guild bank then perfect. But if you can't do either, as if they could rank you up a bit just so you can deposit some items because you want to be an active "guild member." After being able to withdraw and deposit, take as many valuable items and gold as you can. **Now that you have the items, quickly exit WoW or log off completely and go to your internet browser and immediately transfer your character. As Skero said, now that you've changed servers, for all the guild knows, you don't exist anymore.
As for every scam, none of them are 100% fool proof so try to be careful. I also haven't tested this out yet, so I'm not completely sure that it works, but it should. Try to find a good guild that can trust you and safe scamming!

and to make this even better, you could make a character on the realm you plan to transfer to with the same name as the character you are tranferring to get a free name change, making it virtually impossible for them to track you downz.
I never thought of that, good idea. The only problem facing this would be that their are only a few servers up for free transferring, so make sure you check if your servers opted in and even make a character on that server, then you get the free name change as Chaosrage said.
I hope all of you know that you are not able to get banned for stealing from g-bank. it's in the ToS or EULA w/e anyway.. There is a reason of the Stack/day option, and it does not have to do with trust."
Ya but then you could get a pretty bad reputation on the server and guilds might not want you in there guild if word gets out, doubt it would but it could happen. Also, better safe then sorry lol
So you pay to get gold still... transfering costs money u know..?
Thats why I clearly stated "Make sure the character is on a server that allows one of the free character transfers"
Only some servers have free transfers atm, for example i know Argent Dawn goes to Sisters of Elune since they're highly populated.
And, also it takes a long time to get you're Character Transferred.
I'm not sure how this is a repost of your thread since yours involves scammed accounts and has nothing to do with guild banks. I looked through all of your posts, and the scammed account post was the only thing similar, so I did not repost this.
And it does take a little time, but I guess you could say its worth it if you hit a good guild.
