Reputation: 25 | | | [Common-Sense] Keep Scammed Gold / Items (For Free) Keep Scammed Gold / Items
I posted this long-time ago in the "WoW Guides" forum, but everyone kept on saying... "This belongs in wow scams z0mg! NOOB!" Anyways, this guide is going to tell you how to keep Gold / Items you take from a stolen account, for free at least.
Step 1 / Transferring The Gold - First go on the Scammed Account, and look through all the realms with characters for the highest toon. Once you find the highest toon, log in. In the mean-time go into you're wow account and make a toon on the same account the High-Lvl toon is on. Next send all the Items / Gold from the High Lvl toon to the low lvl toon via mail.
Step 2 / Transferring - Once you receive the Gold / Item's on your toon. Check if you have a Free Character Transfer to another realm. If so congratulations, if not then you're in bad luck. Transfer the character to a realm, and check every few hours.
Step 3 / Re-Mailing The Gold! - So now that you're Low Lvl Toon has been transfered to another Realm, make a new toon on the realm it transfered to, and then send the Gold / Items to it via mail. Then delete the Low Lvl Toon you used to start with.
Congratulations, you've became untraceable!
Since you're on a different realm, the GM cannot track you. Because, when I asked a GM to lookup one of my Toon's for his status. He needed the realm. Also I doubt they can send you're items back, because it's on a completely different realm!

Consequences for account: Warning placed on account, gold removed and account suspended for 3 hours. |

Reputation: 25 | | | the only way that works for me laundering gold is the AH thing to a separate account and the guild bank to a separate account
either way you need 2 accounts |

Know how Blizzard has rules about how you cant transfer when you have more than x amount of gold on a character? Well it wouldnt be hard at all for them to implement a script to check for characters trying to transfer that have the max amount of gold, and have earned it very quickly. This would let them monitor and possibly catch gold farmers/sellers/scammers trying to transfer gold or launder it. This is of course pure conjecture, but it seems possible.
Atleast when you stay on the same server Blizzard isnt directly examining your items and gold. |

But yeh their game.. they can trace everything. You would know about this if you had ever been a gm on a emu server. You can see all the logs of every character. Say you sold copper bars for 2g. it would look like this.
Seller requests trade with Buyer.
Seller has successfully traded Copperbars with Buyer
Seller Recieves 2 gold.
And this is just an emu server, blizzards servers are much more advanced and well organized. | |
