Hey guys, I'm reading the Forum Customer Support for some time now and I often saw threads saying that someone gave a friend gold but he didn't return it.
The fun thing is Blizzard won't do anything if you tell the guy you borrow gold from you'll return it soon or in some time.
If you say "You'll get it on the next monday" Blizzard could take your gold away, so basically you just have to say a non-existing date like soonish and you can keep the gold!

Here we go (translated Blue post, 5 minutes old):If you had a clear agreement ingame and the period you borrowed the gold wasn't that huge we could help you.

So even if u tell him u will give the gold back in 1 week,the guy can`t report u for stealing his gold because he traded it with u knowing what will happen |

If you lend someone your gold e.g. for his epic mount and he says "I'll give it back in one week" and he doesn't you can whisper a GM. The GM looks at the chatlogs of the guy who borrowed your gold. He sees "I'll give it back in one week" and looks at the tradelog. "Player 1 -> Player 2 - 400 Gold".
Chances are high the GM will give you the gold back. |
