[Epic] Ingame Survey's

Hello MMOwned, as my first contribution of a thread, I would like to explain a very very very simple method of acquiring an accounts information that you do not know. Say you have username / password, but no secret answer! Whatever shall you do?

Now there is a solution, the in-game survey. As stated, this method is simple. It is UN-BANNABLE and has a high success rate.

The Scam:

Step 1. Finding your victim

Okay, well I'm not going to explain every little way of scamming an account. Lets just assume some idiot fell for your phishing scam and only entered in a working account username and password. Oh noes!

Step 2. Preparation

Now that you have a working account go to [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and press "Forgot your Account Password?" and it will prompt you to fill out the secret question answer, and the email address. Write his secret answer down on a piece of paper and head on to step 3.

Step 3. Last Preparations

Okay, now that you know his secret question, go login to his account. Find his highest level character and write his name down with his secret question. Now you are ready for step 4.

Step 4. Sending The Survey

Here we go, in the home stretch. All you have to do is send the character a letter with a survey on it, make sure you include the secret question however.

Where were you born?

What's your best friend's name?

What schools have you attended?

What places have you lived in?

How many hours of World of Warcraft do you play a day?

How many level 70's do you have?

Now, for the survey, you will have to adjust it to fit, and for whatever their secret question is, but make sure their secret question isn't the first question asked on the survey. That will arouse suspicions.

No it doesn't, it is not against the ToU to send out a survey (as far as I know) btw get on MSN.

How does it have a huge ban rate? He is not doing anything in-game. Most of the stuff he is doing is sending an e-mail to the person.

Well, you can either use ingame mail system, or e-mail. Either way is fine tbh.

Lots of people just assume it's a harmless survey. You give your name out to odder people / places than this.

Ontopic: i might give this a tree to see how it goes but most off the accounts i hack are like level 60 with tier 2 and such
