Chances: It is impossible to calculate this as it depends on which GM you get and how they react to your petition. I have had 100% sucess with this method and not only that I have done it over 3 times on one of my accounts. Your writing style can also make or break a deal. No "My account was haxed, give it back please".

Scenario: Let's say you sold your accounts to one of those nice gentlemen on Markeedragon.com and you want to recall your account.You call Blizzard and they tell you your account has been banned. What Now?

Instructions: Well here we go.
1. Go to [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
2. Select World of Warcraft and then select Account Security/Compromise
3. Your going to need to enter your information. I found a better chance of restoration if you put in an email account that was at one point registered to your WOW account.
4. Put in your Cd-Key and SQA and if you dont have either of those upload a Picture ID.
5. Tell them you stopped playing [Amount of time ago since you sold your account] and that now you cannot log back in. Mention that the account password isn't working and that you tried recovering it in the account management.
6. Wait. They will most likely reset your password and give you access to the email account.

Sample: "Hey, My name is [Insert Name] and I am having a problem with my account. I stopped playing about [Date Sold] ago and heard that Wrath of the Lich King was coming out and really want to start playing so I can get prepared. I tried logging into the game and it wouldn't let me. I thought it was because I didn't put in my gamecard so I logged into the site and was locked out yet again.I tried the Forgot Password link and that also didn't work. I then called the Blizzard technical support hotline and the rep told me that my account was banned. I am just wondering why I was banned since the account hasn't been played in all this time. If you could help me out and fix this problem I would be extremely greatful. Thanks for your time.
