| A New take on the AH scam!!!!
Hey guys, I just pulled off this scam and earned myself about 35g. It's actually a new take on the AH scam.
So, what you do:
1. Go to your trade city.
2. Look for someone who's selling a blue/purple item in trade channel. MAKE sure they're either a guild bank (tehbankzlawl or something) or a (near) lvl 70.
3. Say you're interested in purchasing the item.
4. Negotiate and get the ABSOLUTE cheapest price you can.
5. Buy the item from the person.
6. Quickly, go to the AH and put the item up for about 2-4 times what you paid.
7. Go on an alt, and send a message TO THE PERSON you bought the item from saying "Hey! I heard you were selling (itemhere)! Do you still have it? I'm willing to pay up to (about 1.5-2 times what you put the item on AH for) for it!!!"
8. The person will respond "Sorry, I've already sold it" or something like that.
9. Say something like: "Aww man, I really need that... Do you think you can do me a favor and check the AH for the item or check your bank or something to see if there's another? I'm far away from the AH."
10. Hopefully, the person will look at the AH and see the item, and buy it and say something like "Oh, I have another" to you.
11. Go check the AH to make sure the item's not there.
12. Say "WOAH! A guildie just got that item, i don't need it anymore but thanks for the effort man. I appreciate it!"
13. Log out.

The point of this take on the scam is to get the cash as quick as possible, and hopefully it will work. If the person ends up not buying the item from the AH, ignore him and do the AH scam the normal way.
