Okay, here is my idea for a new scam. May have been posted before, if so FLAME ON!!!

This scam requires some front money (depending on how much gold you want to have and money for a new account.) The gold will be scammed from gold websites, so no one loses! ...except chinese farmers...

First off, buy a new account for $15.99 from either the Blizzard website or the store. This account can be full of falsified information for an extra level of security. This will be your scamming acount. You will need to pay for an actual month so that you have access to mail. Make a character on the scamming account, get to a mailbox.

Go on a popular (or not so popular) gold selling website and purchase gold for your server. The amount of money that you will need to front will all be on credit card, and you need to be able to call your bank in order to cancel or dispute payments. Order the gold, put in your information, and wait for all of the gold to arrive. As soon as it does, transfer to your main via AH. Delete the alt!

Now comes the scam part:

Go back on the gold selling website and go to the live chat/email section and say that you never got your gold and you are going cancel payment. They will argue that they sent it, and for you to wait. Tell them you do not want to wait anymore and give them two choices: Refund your payment, or you will cancel the payment. Make up a reason saying that you would rather take your business elsewhere.

Note: Gold websites cannot PROVE that you received the gold, therefore you cannot be prosecuted for crime. You will have already deleted any evidence. For extra security, REMAKE the deleted character, same name and class and get them to the mailbox. If the site complains, and IF (very big IF) Blizzard cooperates, their records will show a normal character with no mail received.

From experience, the manager of the gold website said that if I cancelled the payment, he would report me to Blizzard for buying gold, which is against ToS. (Ironic, no?) This is the beauty of it: even if the scamming account is banned, you get your gold for $15.99! I have done this and have around 10k+ gold now. For those of you that do not have access to bank credit cards, there are many prepaid cards available.

......

What if you want free powerleveling? How about some honor? Same as above, make a new account. Make sure the last names match when you fill out the account information! Make an alt, level it a little if you want. Make it on a server that you want to transfer FROM. (Meaning you want to leave to a different server.)

Go to a website, purchase a powerleveling service. Personally, I like to scam websites that offer 375 for both trade skills, a flying mount, and some extra gold. Aim high folks!!

After the amount of days required to level your character, log on and make sure you have what you want. Make an alt with the same name as the powerleveled charachter on the target transfer realm. Transfer your character, pay the fee. (Blizzard can now crit for $25!) After the wait period, log on and change your character name to whatever you want now. Delete the alt on the target server.
Now make ANOTHER alt on the same realm that the powerleveled character came from. This alt should have the origional name of the powerleveled character. This is just in case you come under suspicion and are investigated by blizzard for scamming. Even if the website snitches on you, they will only see a level 1 nub character and will probably do nothing.

Again, complain and retract payment.

Voila!!! After a week or two of scamming, you have a high level character!

I have done this many times, and it has made me quite a bit of money. I used two scamming accounts to level and get honor for a character i sold. Paid for the leveling, then transfered to other scam account. Paid for honor, then transfered to a main account. Sold account for an undisclosed amount This takes some time (months because of the realm transfer cool down) but is worth it in my opinion. A little bit of diligence and patience will get you your desired outcome.

All in all, paid around $16 for 5k gold, $32 for 10k. Another $65 for a level 70 with mount, skills, and 1k...which i turned around for over a 1000% return.

HAPPY SCAMMING!

Criticisms and suggestions welcome. It is, after all, how we learn!

EDIT: Please do not ask for profiles, what companies to scam, or ask me legal advice. I cannot divulge the secrets that allow my business to run without competition, as it poses serious risk to myself. This is a business scam guide, so use it at your own risk. Even though I have said that none of the actions you take are my responsibility, people still tend to blame me for making it so easy.

In short, I have shown you the ropes. Do your own research to learn how to climb them.

Re: Scamming Websites - 04-09-2007

This is not a scam for 'some' gold. The output depends on YOUR input. The more you put in, the more you get out. Make sense?

The possbile return for paying around $16 for a new account is limitless! This depends on how much you can front. I paid $564 for 5k gold, before special discounts from the website for spending more than $200. Retract the payment, and you get $564 back. Net gain is $564-$16, which equals $548. This is a gain of 4858G and some change!! After the AH cuts, you shout still get around 4500G. (Calculated, you spend 2/625 or .0032 of a cent per one gold. Thats 32 cents for 100 gold!!!!)

As for the account transfers, the last name on the target account AND the scamming account must match.

After banning your scamming account, Blizzard will not ban your main. This is all because they need people paying in order to make money. Blizzard does not care about the individual; however, they do care about their money.

If you have the money to front, take every possible precaution that I mention, and wait patiently, you will scam the websites.
....

Just a little side note: I only scam larger businesses, as a couple hundred dollars is not much to fuss about to them. Use your own discretion when deciding which website to scam. Once you have done it to one site, go to another! There are thousands (literally thousands) of gold selling websites. If you plan on muti- or mass- scamming, I suggest that you use prepaid cards. This way you can cut any trails that may lead to you, or raise suspicion on any one credit card. I have done it twice as of now, and am working on four scams related to this.

Oh and sorry that I didn't post this earlier. I wanted to test it out first and make sure it worked without consequence before I posted it. Gotta keep the mmowned.com members safe and happy!

I don't normally steal/hack accounts from people, unless they ninja something in a PUG, or harass me. (Lol especially lowbies that wont stop /w me for gold.) Well I guess scammers have their own ethics lol.

HAPPY SCAMMING ALL!

I'm definetly what you would call a troll, and I never thought I'd say this (or even anything), but god damn this is cool.

Surely the sweetest thing I've learned today.

I expect to try this soon, and my second post will probably be results after all is said and done.

Thanks man, you've given me that one thing I've always wanted from cheating in this game.

PS: I'll try and rep ya, I dunno for sure if it'll do anything though. :P

And yes, this is very ethical from my point of view as well.
