WHen you got one ! Please Tell me ! xD |
By the way, it doesn't matter if it's PayPal or not, you can still call it a fradulent charge, perhaps one by someone who got your CCard number.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
DO
NOT USE A 'DEBIT CARD' FOR THIS! ONLY A CREDIT CARD WILL WORK! The reason? Debit Cards are run by the bank--My mother was scammed badly over this issue because my little brother attempted something similar to this, knowing that she would refuse the charges, but not realizing the issues at hand:
A bank cannot refund money sent online through a Debit Card due to policies of online transfer. They cannot lawfully conduct 'investigations' due to this fact. The money was in your actual account, and therefore is already gone, transferred away--you cannot retrieve it.
A credit card company, however, gives the money from their OWN piggy bank, and YOU pay them back. THIS is why they can retrieve the money, they almost literally pay cash to the company, and you don't actually pay a thing.
Another little tip, Mag? You can even dispute the account charge if you don't have any real 'online gaming' charges on that same credit card--this shows that you do NOT play games on there (Even if you do!)
And please, don't be stupid. Don't use the SAME credit card eight times in a row for this scam.... They'll fall for it every now and then (At least a year between claims) But not three months in a row. You WILL be convicted of Fraud if you attempt something that stupid. Please, I beg of you, in the name of intelligence, (And getting educated past third grade) move cards around! And don't use a company more than once every two months if you have a bad credit score--they'll already be on alert for you due to that fact. Use prepaids as often as possible.
