How to avoid WOTLK beta scams and and wow account scam
Hello there guys I decided to give somthing to this forum today because i annoyed allot of people in the shoutbox and i have decided to try and prove myself to be mmowned worthy. So this is how you spot the signs of hack/scam sites!
Step one: The mail should be from [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] if its EU. Second the email should be almost exactly like this:

Getting started:
In order to participate in the beta test, you must upgrade an existing retail account which has been upgraded with The Burning Crusade®, allowing you to connect to the Wrath of the Lich King™ test realms. The World of Warcraft®: The Burning Crusade® game client that you use must be patched up to version 2.4.2 or later in order to install the beta test client.
Go to [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] to download the installer, and copy character(s) to our test realms.
Please be prepared to enter the current retail World of Warcraft account name and password you use, and the appropriate beta code listed below to authenticate your eligibility to connect to the Wrath of the Lich King test realms. To participate in the beta tests, you must have a valid retail World of Warcraft account active and in good standing as of July 15, 2008.
Below is a beta code that will allow you to upgrade the Account you use to play World of Warcraft®: The Burning Crusade®. Each beta code can be used only once to upgrade an active retail World of Warcraft® account.

Troubleshooting:

Please remember that this software is still undergoing development, so any in-game issues should be reported using the /bug feature.
Then underneath there should be this in other languages! no:3:ALL WoW login pages have https:// at the start NOT [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] The "s" means secure! If a site hasn't got that at the top it proably isnt legit! And thats about it really, Obviously these rules dont apply to wow powerleveling sites! Also this guide is based upon WoW Eu not US. ^^^^^^^LOL YEAH RIGHT, but technically this is what the wow scams section is "supposed to be used for"
And to the op I didnt read the guide cause its to much of a txt wall and its all gray and boring. Different color headers with an esay to see color for the body imo... Alll I saw is the huge bright sig which caught my eye and made me not read the thread
