Sorry guys, can't resist writing this... and sorry kathunx and Jackals, i just write this For the Truth...
Ok, well basically, The Jackals will get you as long as they have sufficient proof that you scammed someone. If they can't prove it, they can't do anything to you, because if you go to the law and they get called upon, they got nothing they can accuse you of, or justify their actions with. Therefore THEY'LL be the ones getting in trouble.
Kathunx said that they check every possible scenario before they go for someone. If this whole thing is for real, then if they don't have sufficient proof to convince the Law Enforcement Guys, then they won't go after you.
Now basically, the way i figure it, you have to do this by EMAILING your target the account information. This way the target can't keep logs of their msn and show it as proof. Example of this here [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] Basically, when they ask you for the info, you say that you will email it to them instead, so there's no proof over chat logs that you gave incorrect info/didn't even give info. They'll think he deleted the email or something if he uses that as evidence...
SO, if you scam and they can't prove it, but they still bother you...feel free to go to the police, they should take your side.
Note : This has not been tested and is all based on theory, if anyone tries this, please post their results :P. But the way i see it, the Jackals are smart, they won't be going after anyone who they don't have sufficient proof for. And this does not mean i support scamming or anything, i'm just writing this as the truth, use it however you can.
I think i mightve skipped something in their, and just correct me if i'm wrong about this...

Well it's confirmed, Kathunx says that if he doesn't have sufficient evidence to prove what you've done to someone else, then he won't bother going for you anyway.

You're right, if the victim cannot provide sufficient evidence of the scam then we usually don't take up the case. I mean, I don't know what your strategy is (use email? beats me), but if the victim is dumb enough to not gather sufficient evidence against you, we're not going to help him. There are many reasons for this, but this is true. Just being honest!
So the email method is just one way of making sure you're immune, but there are heaps of other ways, help yourself... Just important to never admit you scammed someone, otherwise they can record it and use it as proof...

Not really that I care, but MSN logs and e-Mails are equal when it comes to using the them as proof. Both can be made up, no matter what they use it's never 100% failproof :P

and the email was an example, my point is that if they cant prove you did it, then they can't legally do anything to you...
I always thought, being an experienced scammer, requires quite some knowledge about computers in general. Everything on your computer is editable so is a "last edited" entry

Do me a favor and google for "Safe deletion" or check Wikipedia, it's mainly due to data not being overwritten correctly at specific positions and just staying there, waiting to be overwritten by other crap.

Its not a few $$ as well you know, it's hundreds and in some cases over 1000. What you are doing is stealing from people, end of story. Kathunx and his boys then decide you dont't get to keep what you stole and make you return it, via force. Good luck getting any sort of police involvement, at the long shot they do get involved, I bet no prosecution will stand whatsoever, you're more likely to be charged with wasting police time than have anything done to the jackals. Some of you guys live in a fantasy world, you really do.
Like I said elsewhere, I dealt with buy2k over on our forums, he was cocky, obnoxious and gave it the " come and get me" attitude. In the end, he got what he deserved, he won't be attacking anyone from MD again.
