WARNING - scammers getting BUSTED

This message is very important to all the scammers on MMOwned, so if you have scammed or plan on scamming, please read this!

As many of you have heard, a Markee Dragon moderator, Kathunx, made a thread on Markee that introduced a group of people known only as "the Jackals." It basically explained how they tracked down someone (it happened to be an MMOwned member) who scammed a Markee member, and what they did to him. Buy2k2, the scammer, then made a thread about it on MMOwned. It has since been locked, but here is its link:

While they didn't do anything illegal, they did make life miserable for Buy2k2, at least temporarily.

Here is my (and others') message to MMOwned: do not scam anyone on Markee Dragon who is TrustWho Verified or has 6+ rep. This is what Kathunx says is "Jackal-worthy."

Kathunx's Jackals have been confirmed. We tested them, and they have been able to get all of ubrpwnt's personal info (with just his username, even though he has never posted his name or address on the internet), all of my personal info, all of CookieMonZorZ's personal info, and the personal info of some other scammers.

Our warning to you is that this can definitely happen to you. Proxy or no proxy; these guys are incredible.

Kathunx really isn't a bad guy. He says he is not going to attack random people on MMOwned; he'll only bring out the Jackals if someone scams a TWV or high rep member. He's just trying to protect people on his site. He says that when they track someone down and contact them, they will ask them to give it back. If you refuse, they will show that they mean business (which is basically what happened in Buy2k2's case), and if you still don't give it back, they'll up the punishment until you're in pretty deep shit. If Kathunx or anyone related to him contacts you asking to give a scammed account or item back, I highly recommend you give it back immediately.

So, we ask of you MMOwned: please, do not scam people on Markee who are TWV or have more than 5 rep. And just in case you get approached by Kathunx, even when you haven't scammed a high rep or TWV member, then you should really give back whatever you've taken. I know you may not believe me, so I've gotten some of the others who've also been exposed by Kathunx's people. They'll be posting in this thread below me.

If you don't heed our words, know that you may end up like Buy2k2. If we were exposed, then you can be.

Anyway, what we're saying is completely true. Kathunx found my info and the info of many others.

Kathunx and his Jackals have busted Buy2k2 and many other MMOwned Scammers. They're very efficient.

Please heed his warning. Do not scam TrustWho Verified or 6+ rep Markee members or you may very well get what Buy2k2 got.

If he could find our info, he can find yours too.

I support this completely. KuRIoS also does too, obviously. So do 2dgreengiant, Glitchy, and Errage, who are mods/supermods, Theez and DragonSky, who are legendary members, many members of COMSA, including CookieMonZorZ, the founder, and many, many, many other MMOwned members.

This threat is real, I've got confirmed myself what kathunx is capable of doing. (Including the Jackals)

I'm against scamming legit people of their money/accounts etc.
And I fully support what kathunx is doing.

He is fine with you scamming scammers, like the chinese scammers for example, infact, they actually like if you do that. But please refrain from scamming higher up people as much as possible.

I've seen Kathunx in action, not against me and he is one to hold respect towards. tho you may have lost the nice t6 account, but you get to keep your dignity to scam another day. In the event Kathunx approaches you, just comply and be on your way.

A T6 account is not worth the embarrassment nor perpetual shame from your family and friends on being called out of what you do at night.

If you do decide to continue scamming on there, please avoid the legit buyers; place yourself in their shoes for a moment and think of seeing 600$ disappear in a instant. We have had it happen to ourselves but think nothing of it because it wasn't ours in the first place. You do more harm than you think.

This is indeed true, they can find out all your personal information without you even posting anything on the internet. I STRONGLY advise and warn you to not scam high-rep or TWV MarkeeDragon users.

You don't understand though. He found the contact info of me and other COMSA members, who have never posted our info on the Internet and always use proxies and such.

The Jackals are incredibly effective. Trust me, if I were to ask him to get your info, he'd have it all in a few days tops, guaranteed.
