| Useful Responses to use while scamming I have scammed a couple accounts, and I have come up with a list of responses you can say to the victim during the process. I am pretending to be a gold company that buys and sells accounts. (An idea I got from mmowned). These may be useless but I am sure that someone will find a use for them. They worked for me so I can hope that they will work for you.
[EDIT: As pointed out below, Hasslehoff came up with this idea. Some of the responses are from that thread, but most are from me.] The List
I am with a company that buy's and sell's accounts. They give me names of people selling their wow accounts, and I give them a quote for the account. I
send your paypal information to my superior, and we transfer the funds.
My co-worker's get paid to sift through forums looking for accounts that are being sold. They then send the AIM information to me, and I work out the details with the customer.
At this time we can offer $375.00 for your account. If you choose to accept this offer then you will need to have a PayPal account to receive the funds. You will also need Full Name on the account, Secret Question and Answer, access to Email on the account, Username, and Password. If you have CD-KEYS, $20.00 will be added on to your total. For our security we require all information before the funds are released into your PayPal. NOTE: We will ONLY use PayPal to pay for your World of Warcraft account. (This one was from someone on this site)
We send the payment once the account information is verified. We guarantee 100% that the payment is sent once the information is verified. It is company policy that the information gets sent first, as to protect the company funds from scam.
The funds are released from our paypal immediantly after the account information is verified. So you can verify that you received the funds. Our system handles the
transaction so it is almost instantanious.
We buy the accounts at the price the seller asks, then we decide how much of a profit we can make it. So let's say that I buy your account for 375.00. We can add gold to it, and resell it to someone for more money, depending on the condition the account is in. (honor, gold, infractions ect)
That is always a risk because Blizzard browses forums just as we do. It is our responsibility if anything happens to the account after we send our payment to you. Meaning that if the account gets banned after we buy it from you, we are liable, not you. You still keep the money, and it is our fault the account is banned. It is a risky business, but we do it anyways. Are you a bit more comfortable about the transaction now?
We need to change the email for our new customer. Our company's email is removed when the new account owner is found. It is to guarantee the new account holder's safety in the future incase you decide to take the account back.
The payment cannot be sent without completing the verification process. It is to protect the company's funds and the new account holder. If you cannot do this for us, then we cannot help you. As soon as it is changed, our system sends the payment via paypal.
I normally use AIM and I create an account with a company name like wowmine or something of the sort. It usually looks like "namehere_wowmine".
I hope this is of use to someone who wants to scam accounts!
