I have been thinking about this for quite some time when joining guilds with websites and such, and finnally have come out with a conclusion to steal 1 out of 10 members of your guilds accounts.

1. Make a guild, and invite tons of people. Make it some kind of "Every day raiding guild" Make it seem proffesional.

2. Every great raiding guild has to have a website right? Make one on wherever, such as websites where you create one of your own at.

3. -GUILD MEMBERS REGISTER!- It is common for people to share a unique password they normally use on everything. Meaning that they will most likely use the same one they placed on their world of warcraft account.

4. Type in their log in information used on the website and log into their accounts in World of Warcraft!

This may not work for everyone, but there is always bound to be some people falling for it.

And if you don't actually want to raid then keep telling the guild that you are selecting very specific tanks and healers. And you all need more common people to be on to participate in raids. Tell them that you are looking for more of a certain class. And just continue inviteing more people to fall victom to registering on the website.

Guild message of the day: Remember. We need Experienced raiders. Preferably 60+, you MUST register on the forums before you can raid. Register by <Date> Make your login information easy to remember to reduce trouble. Anyone can invite!

Possibly, unless you already have a guild website. But once this gets started there really is no ending it. Account, after account, after account, etc.. Everyone is recuiting too so expect new members daily. Just restrain yourself because if you clean out to many accounts, not many people will be left in the guild. Then it would also be possible to raise some suspicion.

Yeah, and dont forget to make the password on the forum hahve the same requirments as the password on WoW.

Most people would use character name and not account name when registrering. How do you find out account name?

This wont work, unless u have 1000 of hours to spare. U dont just start a Guild that does end game instances. It takes month to get 20-40 lvl 70s... Its faster just farming

I have created a solution to this problem. You invite level 60 and 70s.

For someone to make a specific character name, they must decide they like it first correct? And if they like a name why not keep it just like a password for everything? If you read the whole post, not everyone will fall for this. I have stated that also.

Well im an officer of a guild for making a website. This scam looks real nice considering i have like 80 level 70s signed up to my website. the website i made is a simple Guild Portals website! how do i get peoples passwords from a guildportals webpage?

exactly my point! you can get people's posswords if your an admin?

Well im the Super Admin...im creator of the site...i just have no idea how to check where there passwords are! so this scam would be useless if theres no way to find out passwords on guildportals....almost every guild uses guildportals.

Alright, I have an alternative for guild portals.
Simply go on your website and post a "New Ct raid" But with an embedded keylogger. Tell in your guild message of the day it's new and improved. Everyone downloads it. You get all the accounts. Tell them you have found it off of a website and it works great.

That is only if you choose the darker path O.o But still is a valid if you really want over 100 or so accounts from your guild. Make a good 30,000+ gold. But you would have a ton of fingers pointed at you so I do not really recommend it or know much about keylogging..

But seriously, a hacker can get peoples passwords on a website, but the creater himself can not?

almost all the Keyloggers that are available are keylogged already so its pretty dam hard to find a clean one. Unless someone can find one and post it because i much rather trust you guys then other sites.
