[NO QUESTIONS HERE] We do not condone scamming, this section is meant for people to read about scamming so they can prevent being scammed themselves.
* In order to do this scam you will need about $150-200 that you are willing to risk. Remember, you will be getting more money, so it's something to consider.
* Also, you will need a Credit Card(with the money on it), registered to a Paypal account.
I take no responsibility for the loss of your money, or anything else that happens.
This is just a guide that offers an idea that you can use! Please remember, I did not attempt this!!!!! This is just an idea I thought of a couple days ago.
IT'S BEST TO DO THIS ON A FRIDAY NIGHT BECAUSE ACCOUNT ADMINISTRATION IS CLOSED ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY.
1) Go to a forum, and look at the threads that people make to sell their account. Find a character(s) that you like, and write the persons contact information down.
(MSN or AIM work the best).
2) Contact them on AIM or MSN and tell them that you are interested. Talk to them a little bit and get them comfortable with you.
3) Now its time to make the trade! Give them a reasonable offer and see if they accept. If they accept ask them if you can log onto the account and check if the character is there. If they allow you, go ahead and do that. If they don't then you can two choices. Either trust them, or block them and find a new person.
4) Ask them for their Paypal, and when you think the time is right, send them the money. Make sure that you don't allow them to send you a "Money Request" because they can write in the description saying that "the goods you are going to receive are intangible" or something to that sort. You don't want that to happen because they might be able to keep the money. Also, please be careful! Try to work with a person that seems legit in selling their account! Check their feedback, threads, and posts for that information. Even if you send the money to a scammer you can still get it back, but it's a hassle.
5) Once they receive the money ask them for all of the information. Account name, password, first name, last name, SQ/A, and if possible the CD KEYS. Don't forget to change the e-mail. Once you log onto the account on the main website request to change the e-mail. Tell them to go into their e-mail box and accept the confirmation. If they are scamming you, instantly recall the money.
6) Congratulations! You have the account in your hands now, but they have the money. Go to a company that buys accounts and sell them the account you just got. Tell them all the information. Tell them to send the money onto your paypal account, or maybe another one that you use.
7) Wait until Saturday and re-call your money that you paid for the character on paypal. Paypal usually sides with the buyer especially if its a virtual good, and the seller does not have anyway to prove that he sent you the account information. The only way he can prove this is if he took pictures of the conversation which people rarely do.
8) Well, the seller will check his paypal, and will realize that the money has been recalled. He can't really do anything about the money because he didn't "PHYSICALLY" ship the account to you. The only thing he will be able to do is call ACCOUNT ADMINISTRATION and get the account back. But! Account Administration is closed on Saturday and Sunday so he will have fun calling them. Also, you have the same information as the OO of the account.
If he doesn't have his CD Keys, theres nothing he can do. He just lost an account, and lost the money you paid him at the same time. The only possibility is that if they make you send in ID.
By now the account is gone, and is probably being used by the company to sell/farm gold, or is being played by a someone else. If you want to add another step, call Blizzard early in the morning. Right as the ACCOUNT ADMINISTRATION opens, and tell them you are being hacked. They will close the account down for some extra days, and the OO will not be able to do anything. Probably goes the same for the company that bought it.
CONVERSATION You: Hello, I am interested in your (class). Them: hi.. okay would you like to buy? You: Yes. Them: ok.. how r we going to do this? You: I send you the money to your Paypal, than you give me all of the information including the email change. Does that sound good? Them: ya that sounds great. You: Can I log onto the account and check if everything is in order? Them: Ok. account name is big and the password is pig. *LOG ONTO THE ACCOUNT AND CHECK THAT THE CHARACTERS ARE THERE* You: Okay. The account looks great! Can I have your paypal e-mail? Them: yes.. [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] You: Okay. Money is sent! I am ready for the information now. Them: *THEY GIVE YOU ALL INFORMATION* You: Nice doing business with you! Thanks for the account! Them: ok thank you You: *AT THIS POINT YOU LOG OUT*
I DID NOT TRY THIS! PLEASE ATTEMPT THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK! YOU MAY LOSE ALL OF YOUR MONEY! WAIT FOR SOME REPLIES TO SEE IF ANYONE THAT ALREADY TRIED THIS HAD SOME SUCCESS
