Scam the opposite faction for $$$

This one might seem like alot of work at first but after you get all set up you

can do the scam over and over and its not hard.


1. Find a huge raiding guild on your server for your faction and remember the

name.


2. Make a charachter on your faction and name him <guild name from

above>bank, chances are you wont be able to name him exactly that

becuase the guild will already have the name taken so add something to

make it work. Then get this charachter to Gadgetztan. <Might want to lv him

a bit.


3. Make a charachter on the opposite faction and lv it to lv 9 -13 ish. dont

use a lv 1 becuase you want people to belive this is a charachter you play.


4. Use your charachter on the opposite faction and search for people lv 60+.

ask them if they have a minute to help you real quick. If they say yes explain

to them that your brother was in a big raiding guid <use name from step 1>

and he quit to go play a warhammer beta account he got. Then tell them he

gave you a 2nd WOW account he had that he used for his guild bank

charachter and he said you could sell the stuff that was left on the guy.. but

you dont want to play that faction becuase <insert your own creative

reason>


4a. Explain that what you would like to do is transfer the items over to the

opposite faction so you can make money for the charachter your on via a

neutral AH but you need help. Ask them if they could help you with that.

Also start mentioning some items that you supposedly have, and explain you

have about 30 some blue and purple items on the guild bank charachter.

Name some good raid BOP items to peak thier interest. Ask whoever your

speaking to if he thinks they will sell good on that faction.


5. If they say yes explain that you have already ran the guild bank

charachter to Gadgetztan but he kept dying on they way there becuase he is

only lv <w/e you ran to gadget>. And when you got there and tried to put

the items on the AH it wouldnt let you becuase they were damaged and

needed repair, but the guild bank charachter has no money on him. But you

have an idea what if you put some crappy grey item on the AH with an open

bid then the person you are speaking to could buy it for 90-150g <w/e you

want to scam them for> this will cover the repair cost and cost to put the

items on the AH.


5a. Then quickly explain that once repaired you will put the items on the AH

for 1 copper each buyout. And that if whoever your speaking to helps you

with this you will give them pick of any 10 of the items they want to keep for

themselfs, and you get the other 20+ items to sell for yourself.


6. If they agree to help, tell them to search for a specific grey item that you

remember the guild bank charachter having on him a smithing hammer or

something. Then tell them after they buy that give you enough time to repair

the items and you will wave to thier charachter with your guild bank

charachter when you are about to post the blue and purple items.


7. Put the hammer on the AH, wait, collect money, then laugh at them and

log out.

Hmm are you implying that you can not make 2 different charachters of

opposing factions on the same server/account ???? becuase I have done it

many times. I did it just now just to make sure it hasnt been changed

becuase Im just comming back to WOW after being away for a month and a

half.



If any of the above posters could give some reasons why they dont think this

scam will make money please post them, maybe I could revise it a bit.

you do know, if you are on a normal/rp realm, this scam WILL have a chance of working...you can make a hordie and an allie on the same realm as long as it's not pvp/rppvp

Well secon char, can be in a trial, but I find it a smart scam, expect that the lvl60 will tell you that if you are on an epic guild , you should have some gold to send over to bank, to get the rerpairs. Also he may say this is stealing rest of the guild, since the bank actually belongs to te guild. Ofc with some of out own creative answers you can smell gold :P

Nice try, i know what your trying to say. But with common sense this scam will not work. I wont rep you because this has a 1 out of 25 chance of working fine without ban. it also has a 1 out of 3 chance that if it does work, your account will get banned. Nice try though

In fact ANY 60+ that falls for ANY scam would have to be a total idiot and/or a kid. (Like most of the posters on this board who post these crappy scams).

I have yet to see a single scam that anyone with 1 brain cell would fall for... Guess SOME servers have lots of idiots. LOL
