First the COD scam.. Since the introduction from blizzard to be able to mail multiple items in one letter, the way COD works has changed a little...
Offer to sell multiples of an item or more then one of the same item to someone, and make sure you can COD it to them.. now, here is the trick, if it is the same item, like Primal water or whatever, split it up into singles. then When you Set the cod price, it is for each item instead of the whole letter...
So, to clarify beacuse my english isnt the good:
you agree to sell 10 primal water for 200g
you split them into 1 each, and fill 10 of the attachment slots with one each and set the C.O.D price to 200.. when they take the first primal water it will ask them if they want to pay the 200g, they will click yes, and only get one.. when they go to click on the second one, it will want another 200g.
then you just wait for the other 9 to be returned to you.
The other scam is with marks for scryer/aldor rep.
On my server the marks of Kil'jadaen are much cheaper then the marks of sergeras.. so, buy a bunch of them. then, ofer on trade to trade 1:1 of Mark of Sergaras for Sunfury Signet.
When you find someone, let them put the sunfury signets up, then pop on your marks of Kil'Jadaen and hit trade quick... Since the icon is the same, most people dont realize what you are doing..
I have done this several times, and only one person noticed anything, and that was about 30 minutes AFTER we made the trade when he went to trade them in. And even if they do see it, just say you made a mistake and leave. and if they notice later on after the trade, how likely are you to remember the name of someone you traded with?
