Yo. This is a little guide I made up to help you judge whether someone you are trying to scam, buy, trade, or sell to is a Chinese gold farmer or scammer.

Alright anyways, when you try to scam someone and don't know if they are legit or not usually they start out with:

Something like that. Throughout the conversation, they will most likely use incomplete phrases and will shorten the length of their sentences as much as possible.
Examples:

"how much 4 the acc?"
"u sell me acc?"
"do u have paypal?"

Chinese scammers, also never choose anything BUT paypal. They will also ask you for paypal early in the AIM / Email Conversation. The scammers will also try to rush the transaction. After receiving a payment, no matter how much time there is in between, 1 second to 1 minute. They will ask for the account info, whether you had the chance to check the payment or not.
They offer between the ranges of high 200s to 500 to grab your attention, unless you offer lower, no matter how good or bad your character is.
Foolproof Ways to Garuntee your not facing a chinese scammer:
My people are dumb in the art of social skills. So just say something to them in chinese, and they'll reply with another chinese statement. A legit person, most likely does not know chinese, from what i see around the forums. Again, this is not racism, as i said in my disclaimer.
Use these phrases to help you lure out those people:

"Ni you mei you 'Paypal' ma"? - Do you have paypal?
Their Answer: "Wo you paypal" or "You" - I have paypal
"Ni shi na guo ren?" - What nationality are you?
Their Answer: "Wo shi zhong guo ren." - I am chinese
"Ni shi zhong guo ren ma?" - Are you chinese?
Their Answer: "Shi de" - yes
"Ni men de gong si zai na er?" Where is your company located at?
Their Answer: "Zhong guo" - China |
AVOID NI HAO MA - THAT IS JUST TOO WHITEBOY TO SAY.
Those are some simple phrases to use. Do NOT use all of them, they are each seperate examples.
