 Guild Bank Scam
Hey i am new here , not sure it was posted here before .
Anyway recently we got our guild bank hacked for some epics around 2k gold .
Scammer used char with name one of our officers +bank , like "Joybank ".
He whispered another officer and asked for guild invitation , after he got it he has been promoted to officer`s alt rank .
Luckily for us withdraw limit was 1 item per day , so he only succeeded to take few epic items , after 2-3 days we discovered this and kicked him from guild , he immediately deleted this char . by by money 
Blizzard game masters was too lazy to handle opened ticket , so we still dont really know who did this .
Guild Officers information easily can be obtained via armory or guild site forums , so this scam is pretty simple to do .
Suggestions for Guild officers:
1. Purchase 1 tab for only epic items and give permissions for this to one officer .
2. Do not invite any alts to guild before you talked to main char. |
