| Gold Scam
Here's a scam that I thought of when watching some TV. I hope it's not a repost, saw nothing like it. Anyway here it is, it only works a few times till people start catching on but you can make a good 2,000 3,000 gold in 2-3 days.
Step one: Get a few green items, [of the animal] or [of stat], or [or resistance] pref but others do work. MAKE SURE IT IS THE ONLY ONE ON AH, NOTHING else of that item can be on at same time.
Step two: Make 2 alts get em both to capital cities. Don't make your name obscure like "Ahmuletwo" or something. It CAN'T CAN'T CAN'T sound like a bank char, must sound/act like noob to pull it off.
Step three: put it on AH for 600g, or w.e. High amount, if it is above 2k people will get fishy.
Step four: Make an alt and level him to say 10 or 11, whatever level it is needed to use the green you bought.
Step four: In trade chat (make sure your auction is on) "Guys I really need [Item], ill buy for 1000g, my bro really needs this and I have lots of extra gold." There will be a LOT of "What the Fu*k man and stuff like that. Ignore it, someone will think he is exploiting you.
Step four b: He will buy the item for that high price and come to you to trade for gold.
Step five: Don't give gold to him, you will have won the auction and gotten 600g for a 30s item. Do this again, if it's on a big server people don't catch up for a while.
The numbers may be a bit large but it's 4am here so....   |
