Hello
feeling to contribute with this small idéa if you need gold instead of mat's when you trick people.
What you need;
-lvl 70
-being a "people person"
What to do;
Message on /2 that you sell mongoose enchant or whatever enchant which is popular and cost a lot, say that you have the mats, for example.
/2 WTS Mongoose enchant, I have mats! 500gold!
Now you might get some answers, say that you want them to pay you first, because you've been scammed by people before.
Get the cash and if you do enchants, enchant like beastslayer +2 on it, and if GM happens to message you tell him you sold the player a beastslaying enchant for 500 gold.

"i got scammed before" doesnt really work in this situation imo. |

Reputation: 45 | | Yeh this is really useless, the only reason you can scam when doing it with mats. Is that you need the mats before doing the enchant, but this way they will just laugh of you when you say you want money first cause then its obvious yer scamming. Useless  |

A better approach would be to have your target hand both the items AND the fee beforehand.
It might not work, but if it does you'll have your money and materials.
I assume you'll have to do some persuading, as I don't know many people that would just give out expensive materials and a sum of gold to a stranger claiming he is able to enchant the enchant you are after.
Also, take in consideration that most persons are relying on guild members nowadays, for expensive enchants. Naturally, there are players who don't have such luxury and will ask over the Trade channel indeed.
