I am not sure if this has been posted before or not. I searched and found one, about sending 1 item, acting like you send 20 or something like this. The scam i am about to write is totally legal, and there is nothing that can threaten you. Sorry again if it is a repost, i couldn't find anything about it using the search.
First step is to create a new character. A name, like "Banker, Bankymanky, Superbank, Bankomat, Bankomathic etc etc etc..." Go into a capital city and ask check the Trade channel. Check the offerings for the things you like, and when someone sells anything just whisper them. "I'd like to buy this, can you please C.O.D it to me, cause i have to log out." You can ofcourse tell another lie, why you can't trade directly, it is up to you. The point is that you need to get as much as possible people to send you items via C.O.D. Nothing special, right? The point is, that most of the players are not used to the CoD type of selling, so sometimes they will send you the item like normal mail, and instead of the "C.O.D" they will add the ammount of gold which is supposed to be the price, like attachment to your mail. So not only that you get their items, but you will get the gold for it too. I have to warn you, that not a lot of people will fall for this, but when you recieve mails with item + price you just ignore them. Just don't do anything. They will get returned to the sender and you won't loose anything. Today i got 10 primal mights + 800 gold and nether vortex for free (the guy forgot to put a CoD price and sent it to me like normal mail  )
Well sorry for the wall of text, i hope you can understand the basic idea of the scam. You can't get reported cause you've done nothing wrong, so no worries about suspension =)
