THIS GUIDE WAS WRITTEN WITH MY EXPERIENCE WITH ONLY US BLIZZARD! I HAVE NEVER CALLED EU BLIZZARD!
Well, I notice many people don't know what to expect when you call blizzard, so I'm writing up a neat guide showing the various conversations I have encountered while calling blizzard.
Just a few tips in general:
Always be courteous. A please and thank you can be the difference between the blizzard employee being suspicious and an ideal phone conversation with the employee
ACT NATURAL! Its obvious, don't call blizzard with a shaky voice, just be natural.
BE = Blizzard Employee
Me = Me
Okay so, I'm going to start off with the ideal conversation
CONVERSATION 1 (Ideal Conversation, they only ask for SQA)
BE: Hello gooday, my name is Matt, how I have your first name and last name please?
Me: Sure! My name is John Smith (Use the name registered to the account you are calling in about)
(Optional, they may or may not ask you this)
BE: Thanks, and may I have the phone number you are calling me from incase we get disconnected?
(Optional, they may or may not ask you this)
BE: Thanks, and may I have your e-mail address? (You don't need to put the email registered to the account, I usually tell them the e-mail address i want them to change it to)
Me: Okay, you may call me at 223 573 2739 (just use any random US number)
BE: Okay thanks, so how may I help you today?
Me: You see, the thing is, I don't have access to the e-mail address registered to my account... I need to get that changed
BE: Sure, may I have the account name of your account?
Me: murlocs2free (just tell them the account name you are calling about)
BE: Okay, I'm pulling up your account right now... This may take a few moments
About 10 seconds later
BE: Okay for verification purposes, when you registered your account you entered a secret question and a secret question answer. Your secret question is "What High School did you attend?". May you answer that for me, please?
Me: Umm... Was it Belton High school?
BE: That it is, may I have the e-mail address you want to change it to?
Me: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
BE: Okay thanks, is there anything else I may help you with?
Me: Nope, thats it.
BE: Okay, have a good day!
Me: You too, thanks for the help!
This was a smooth, ideal and most common conversation. This is the conversation that is most easy to deal with.
CONVERSATION 2 (They ask for CDKEY)
BE: Hello gooday, my name is Matt, how I have your first name and last name please?
Me: Sure! My name is John Smith (Use the name registered to the account you are calling in about)
(Optional, they may or may not ask you this)
BE: Thanks, and may I have the phone number you are calling me from incase we get disconnected?
(Optional, they may or may not ask you this)
BE: Thanks, and may I have your e-mail address? (You don't need to put the email registered to the account, I usually tell them the e-mail address i want them to change it to)

BE: Okay thanks, so how may I help you today?

Me: Umm sure, let me find me CDKey (stay silent for about 10-15 seconds).
Found it! Its 6GJ2XJ
BE: Thanks, that information is valid, what would you like me to change the email address to?
Me: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
BE: Okay thanks, is there anything else I may help you with?
Me: Nope, thats it.
BE: Okay, have a good day!
Me: You too, thanks for the help! NOTE: FOR THIS CONVERSATION, IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE CDKEY JUST TELL THEM YOU DON'T AND THEY WOULD EITHER GO TO CONVERSATION 1 OR CONVERSATION 3
CONVERSATION 3 (They ask for address)

BE: And may I have the State and Zip Code?
ME: It should be CA 828372
BE: Thanks, that information is valid, what would you like me to change the email address to?
Me: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
BE: Okay thanks, is there anything else I may help you with?
Me: Nope, thats it.
BE: Okay, have a good day!
Me: You too, thanks for the help!
CONVERSATION 4 (Wrong SQA)

CONVERSATION 5 (Wrong name)

Me: Oh shi-
BE: Due to suspision, we have escalated the WoW account in question to the Account Comprimisation team. The account has been locked and the only way to retrieve it is to FAX in a photograph of your ID.
Me: We're no strangers to loooovee
You know the rules, and so do I

Lawlz +rep you think this would work with changing the parental email address? Some smart ass I scammed changed their parental block features.. smart but I forgot about it

but the point is they tell me they can't change e-mail by the phone. am i calling the wrong number or is it something with the WoW EU department?
Blizzard US does not ask for the CD-key in any circumstance.
