[NO QUESTIONS HERE] We do not condone scamming, this section is meant for people to read about scamming so they can prevent being scammed themselves.
Ok, so this is not a scam in WoW, but i was not sure where else to put it. Basically, you will be stealing WoW time card codes, and then returning them. I myself would never really do this, its just something i thought of, and realized works.
Now when you buy a time card, the box states that the card cannot be returned after the filmy scratchy stuff has been removed even if you have not used the code. Now what you can do is purchase the time card, carefully open the box so as not to rip the tape that closes the box.
So we have the card, and the only thing that seperates us from the code is the scratchy stuff. What I realized is that using a fairly sharp knife, you can remove the scratchy stuff, for it is a sticker that is placed over the code. So you use the tip of the blade to get under the sticker, and run the blade across the length of the card, and the sticker comes right off. Write down the code, slap the sticker back on, reseal the box, and go return it. If youre concerned about making up a story as to why you are returning it, get a friend to go and say he got it as a gift, but no longer plays WoW.

NOTE: the sticker can be easily ripped and torn, so be careful, otherwise it will be obvious that the sticker was tampered with.

Interesting. I have no doubt in my mind that you would get banned for it though. I did the same with Half Life 2. Buy it, get the key, make it look like it was never opened and return the game. I got away with that, but about 5 months down the line they found out about it and I lost my previous steam account and was forced to buy the game to play.
If i were to do this, I myself would not use the code. I would sell the code to someone, or possibly use it for an Alt account that I don't care about. You could probably sell the code in game for gold. I know someone who would sell codes for 500g, which isnt bad pay :P
Works free WoW now, just ill have to go to a differant shop every time to be unconspicios, or go in a cycle, Milford -> Harford -> Camarthen -> Bridgeend and back again , i lv it wen several game shps are cloase, but hardly any1 ere plays WoW -.-

Lol, scamming a random store in real life will not get you banned in a video game. Unless the owner of the store is some kind of GM with enough power to ban you for writing something down from their store.
