This could yield you jail time, correct? I mean, if I were to do something like this, it would be a little different. I would buy the battlechest, go out to my car, drive to a different parking lot, and then open the battlechest and get the key as quickly as possible. Then I would go back to the Best Buy and claim that as I was starting on my way home while waiting at a red light, I noticed the box seemed like it had been carefully opened and then re-sealed.
They would most likely ask if you wanted to exchange it for another one, in which case, I would say yes to keep the suspicion level low. Now, you still spent $30, but it will have yielded you 2 CD Keys. It would probably be a much safer way to do this scam in my opinion. Just my 2c
