How to turn an Account you only got Name+PW of into Yours - FAILPROOF
(US only)

First off, this doesn't work on every account (on most... like 85% though), and may be even a repost ( The Search aswell as the ShoutBawx-people didn't know it though ), but with this fairly easy technique you can turn an account you got through one of the thousands of Free Account-Giveaways into your fully owned account.
Thought of completely by me (Except 4th step).


Step 1

This is easy. Get a 70 account.
Just post in one of those giveaways or get one via phishing.


Step 2

Get the owners last Name.
A great tool for this is [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] .
Go to People Search>Advanced search, put in the first Name of the owner (which can be found on the Account Management page), remove the toggle at "Begins with" and put in the first letter of his last Name in the next field.
Then just put in all the address information you get on the Account Management page and hit search.

When you get the results, you have to decide, whether those names that popped up are really the owner's surname.
Many people use their last name included in the Account Name, Password or Character. That way you instantly know it's his/her's.
If only one result pops up, that's also probably the owner's Name and you can use it.
In the case that the search turns out many people, use this method to check which Last Name is right: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]


Step 3

Buy a normal WoW key + a BC one ( [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] is a good choice. They work 24/7, but they will ask you on the phone for the information you provided them, so remember what you typed in at your registration) and register it to the first Account's First and Surname and transfer the character to that fresh account.


Step 4 (Idea by Clovian+NECESSARY!)

Get the old account perma-banned. THIS IS IMPORTANT!

Now you can sell it, keep it as your own or do whatever you'd like to do with it.

Doesn't the owner of the account have to approve the transfer, via Email?

you need to know both secret answers at all, at least in europe :/

You only need SQ/A for EU accounts (that's why I wrote US only at the top).
Email isn't needed in either EU or US.

I've been playing around with some accounts I have, and haven't been able to find anyone on the white pages, simply typing in the first letter of the last name doesn't work. Try it on yourself, I had to type in my full name to find myself.
