Blizz employee scam - MMOwned - World of Warcraft Exploits, Hacks, Bots and Guides

My first post on the site, I will try to make it a good one.

I just made a purchase on WOWinfinity software you can find in the bots section of this site. After the novelty of running through walls and moving the terrain around wore off, i came up with a productive way to make some gold and/or items with it.

trial or hacked account
Your prey

I have actually completed this scam in several different ways. Still trying to figure out what was works the best, I’m sure you all will put your own spin on it.

I was shopping on the AH for "heart of darkness" when i came across one person selling 5 in total. Being down on cash an idea came to mind to con these off the seller. I logged onto a hack'd account, created a lvl 1 female, and proceeded to /tell the seller offering to trade wotlk beta key for the 5 hearts of darkness.

Me: Hey, ill trade you a WOTLK beta key for your 5 hearts of darkness
him: wtf, how do you have that?
Me: I work for BLizz/im a gm/ect
him: If that’s true get them yourself! LIAR!
Me: I have to create paper work to do things like that/that creates a paper trial/my boss pissed me off so using my job for personal gain. I have this list of WOTLF keys in my company mail to give out for free.
him: How do i trust that your telling the truth.
Me: Meet me @ "location"

This is where it gets fun, and were wowinfinity comes in. The first time i did this i had the vic meet me in a low pop area. Once we were face to face, i proceeded to change the velocity in wowinifity to -70 then jump straight up in the air completely out of site.

him: HOLY #@$%
Me: believe me now?

At this point he was butter in my hands. Took the hearts for a bogus key and followed the post on this site on how to launder properly.

I pulled off an epic gold score on my very next attempt, and it was the vics IDEA! I moved onto an engineer pattern that was on the AH for 5k gold. Used all the same steps up to the point of the trade, when the vic offered to have his guild buy in gold keys for everyone. 20k g for 8 keys for guild officers plus random items. Could not believe the wealth IG i was sitting on.

-The reason i made a female toon was simply to have better eye candy
-I choose to trade items people had for sale because they often have more value in the eyes of the person who needs it, and less value in the eyes of the person selling it. Most are far more willing to part with something that cost them zero gold to get.

Also wanted to add: The reason i put trial account as one of the ways to try this because of one of my last attempts I had a hard time convincing the vic that i was actually a bliz employee even after the velocity jumping. He asked me to teleport someone were After some quick thinking i said "sure ok". I up my velocity jump even higher so that he would loose target one me because of our range. Did a quick /superfly as soon as i hit the apex of the jump. This kept me from falling back down to the ground and into site. Simply harthed to SW from the sky, asked him to add me to friend so he could locate me. Sealed the deal rather quick after that. Since i was talking with him in If when i departed i simply asked him to mail the goods to another alt of mine. Hence you would never need to trade, and could use a trial account.

Why are you labeled as a guest? Was your account deleted?
