Very thought out scam. I'll have to try this later, takes quite a bit of time though. I'm sure it'll work on my server seeing as a lot of people would be easily preparing to dish out high amounts of gold for it. Would be a bit hard to get some people but I'm sure I could manage to get it to work on one or two people. thanks

Thanks for all the comments, scam is still working pretty well, I've used 2 scammed accounts and have been doing it a few times a week, have profited over 50,000 Gold but am going to be retiring for a while at least I don't think I will ever need gold again. I still haven't received any bans/warnings from Blizzards and it's been over 2 weeks since my first scam using this.

This is still working quite nicely, I've also begun incorporating similar tactics to selling other things and am currently making over 20,000 gold a week and selling gold to friends/randoms. I'm selling at $20.00 per 1,000 so ruffly $400.00 per scam if my math is correct. Just make sure to be careful with who your selling gold to and how your advertising it, basically I just posted a quick free webs website with the information and am using one of my scammed accounts to scam in-game, then I will verify over AIM, take payment with PayPal, and send the gold to them using my bank characters. Has been working pretty well over the last week.

With the gold I've had stock piled I've made close to $1,000 just selling the gold, best thing you can do is make it while you have the chance once these patterns become more readily available with more people in sunwell I'm sure the demand will go down and we will have to wait until another instance is released or other rare patterns which might not be until Lich King.
