This would work better if you would make a trial account.

Make a trial account, bring him to Stormwind or Ironforge.

Logg onto your 70's account. Make a character of a wierd name (not taken) on the server your 70 is on that you want to trade.

Go onto trial account and spamm something with "WTT blah blah blah". You may have to do this on several servers...
Once you found one make sure he's the type of character you wanted and that he's 70. Look at his gear (on armory or in a city).

When someone wants to trade and asks for proof of 70 tell him to log onto the realm you'r 70 is on with the name of the lvl 1 you created in 3 mins. Tell him for example to make a Human because it is easier to go to there since it's easy to get to.

Delete the lvl 1 character, logg onto your 70 and go to human starting area. Talk with him for some minutes and do the scam...

I can only see this as a bad idea; wouldn't blizzard then ban your 70 for taking part in the trade?

Overall I reckon it's safer not to.
