So, I'll say this again. ALWAYS use a scammed account to do this scam, because they will track you down easily, and suspend you. It takes them about 2 days to make the investigation. Just use one of the many guides out there about how to transfer gold from scammed account to main account. Also, use a IP hider to avoid those nasty IP bans

There is a way to do this scam and not get banned, and its just as simple.

Look up the guild leader or officer's name who isn't online, make sure hes not on an alt. Say that persons name is Avista.

Make a level 1 named Avysta or something similar, Avistuh etc.

Send a tell to an officer and just say "hey can i get an invite" it doesn't always get you invited without you saying who you are, but if the person you send a tell to is busy or in a hard instance, they seem to be more likey to just invite you and promote you than ask you to get on a main or ask who you are.

When you do this, you did not impersonate an officer, you simply had a similar name. You got guild invited and promoted, without saying that you were "so and so's alt". Making it the guilds fault for not ensuring that you were an alt, and promoting you anyway, making it less likely for you to get banned.

I'm sorry if this is a bit unclear my brain is still a bit fuzzy right now.
