wish i could have posted earlier (but nvr late than never)
i am from Mi and the power has been off and on
i though of this today while skiing.
you create an alt char with a advertisment kind of name, adverting a gold selling website that is very popular.
go into a popular city and say
(website of goldselling) is holding a superbowl pary. we are taking bets on the colts or the bears, your winning are determined by what the score when you submit your bid of gold. when you place a bet, you will be asked to guess the final score. closet to the score wins (x amount of gold, rather high) to place a bid, whisper (char name). please vist (website of goldselling) to recive your winning. sencciuoly (website of goldselling) and staff

i got on of my guild mates, lol he was pissed when i told him (yes i gave back all 50g)

I did this but my own nonscam version, I said

As most of my guild mailed and r hardcore fans of the bears, and from people I got about 10-20 ea for a person. I lost 1000g on people who bided colts but made 4000g on people bidding on bears and lossing made 3000g avg!! This is great, but only comes around a year
EDIT: just did with guidies 2 of them sent me 500g ea on bears and i had about 130avg people bidding 15+ and bout 50 with 30+gold and 14avg bidding 100+ and 4avg bidding more than 450+
