Hey guys, this guide will explain to you all how to impersonate anyone on MD, with as much rep as you could possibly want.
Step 1: Finding Your Target
I usually browse through the Professional Service or Buying/Selling sections to get a person to impersonate. You are looking for someone that has 2+ rep, and pref Trust Who Verified. Once you find that person, see if you can find out their AIM name. Good AIM names are the ones with the lowercase characters "l" "w" "u" "m" and the uppercase letters "I". Numbers are also handy. Leave his post open, open a new window or tab.
Note: I try to stay away from mods or people above 12 rep, as this could raise suspicion.
Step 2: Creating Your AIM
Now, go to [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] to create your impersonator AIM name. Here you will need to make your name look almost identical to the real person. Below are some tips.
*Lowercase L into an uppercase I
*Uppercase I into a lowercase L
*Lowercase M into a lowercase R and N
*Lowercase R and N into a lowercase M
*Lower or uppercase W into a lower or uppercase V V
*Lowercase U into a lowercase V
*Switch numbers around
With this method, you can take the AIM name Kielman, with the letter L, and change it to KieIman, with an I. In AIM, these names look exactly alike.
Step 3: Finding Someone to Scam
You are looking for someone with a lost post count, little rep, and maybe even a recent join date. I tend to look for easy targets that will allow me to convince them into going first, such as:
Remember that screen that you left open? Open that back up. Hopefully, you've chosen someone with Trust Who Verification, making it easier to impersonate them. Get the links to that person's rating page, and TWV page. Save these links for later.
Step 5: The Instant Message
It's time to actually do some damage. IM your victim and try to sound polite. Something similar to "hay, r u still sellingz urz lockzorz?" doesnt go over very well. I use almost perfect grammar and spelling, but a good scammer knows how to change roles accordingly.
Once you have asked for armory or whatever else to validate that you are indeed interested and a legit buyer, ask him how he wants to do this. He will always tell you something along the lines of "i would like u to go first please". This is where you say "Soryy man, but my rep and TWV outweighs your "whatever they have. You will have to share all the info before I can pay."
Now, they will almost always tell you to post in their thread. Wait a few minutes, then make up some BS execuse why you didnt...my own is "Meh, when I login all I go to is a blank black screen. I'll keep trying though."
Here, most will say "Sorry, can't trade without a post."
You say something along the lines of "I can find my rep and TWV page, I can even email you from my TWV email."
They will usually say ok, so you whip out the links.
Step 6: Sending the Mail
Oooh, ouch...you told him you would email him with that email account that you don't own. Look on the Trust Who Verification page you just linked him...find his name and email. Now, go to [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] Ask the victim for his email, then fill out the approiate information and put Hey - Hey its me and press send. Almost everyone will believe you now.
Note: If they say that you still need to post. Say "Ok man, I understand. Hit me up if you need anything." 75% of the time, he will come back.
Step 7: Profit
Once they believe you and agree to do it your way, there is really not much to it. Collect all your earnings and you can even feel free to flame him or anything, as this isn't your AIM name.
Note: Remember that in order to have complete control of account, all you need is Last Name, Email control, and SQA
Step 8: Word of Warning
If you do plan to impersonate yourself (yes, I have done it) or someone that you actually like on Markee, be careful. By doing this well, you can completely destroy all that person have ever worked for. my count is 4 and still counting. Have fun with this, but I wouldn't overuse it as people will pick up drastically on it.

P.S. Even though many of you will have posts about you on MD, 97% of people do not check those forums for scams. This will always work.

So anyways, I did get this shaman but with a wrong last name...as you can see. It actually ends up that the person I was xfering for scammed the shaman...of course. Who would be offering a $300 shaman for a $25 xfer?

Scam = 99% guaranteed to not work any more.
Not under that name no, but other name..ofcourse. I've been doing this all night under different names. ( I also scammed 2 more people under that name even after that was posted. Look at the 2nd post for one of them)
I can gaurentee you that 97% of the people on Markee don't read the scam forums, as there have been so many scams posted on there and yet they all still work great.
And anyways, if the person is reading the scam forums on a consistent basis, they are one of the people that are tough to scam.
