Just figured I’d share a scam that has been working for me…
Ok ill try my best to explain … The first thing people do when they get a scammed account is change the password and usually loot everything they can, I have been playing a total of 4 different accounts for almost 7mos and have only lost 1, due to password change. Here’s how – This will take a little patience but works great. Everyone knows there are programs that can mask or even “change” your IP so what you do Is simple use the general Ip of the persons account you are scamming (finding it is relatively easy) also finding out the persons playing time is also easy. People usually have a playing habit of what time they play, (also why you have more than one account.) I’ve even on several occasions been on, and run quest with members of the same guild.

Here’s the breakdown…

1) Get your account and for the first few days watch their playing habits. How often they log in.
2) Check account info like where the account is, if in a different time zone from you, its much easier.
3) Narrow down location by doing a simple ZabbaSearch
4) Must have program like Hide my IP.
5) When you want to play, turn on IP changer, log on to wow and play.
6) If you’re going to steal from the toon don’t take everything at once.

Like I said I have used several different accounts for some time now and have gotten Lots of gold and items for my main account, And if your wondering when a player puts in a concern of account fraud or scamming – like missing items the first thing blizzard will do Is check for any discrepancy in the account IP. Anyway hope it helps some if not oh well, works for me.

Yeah exactly, I don't really see a point in sharing a scammed account :P Why not (if you have all the details) just sell the account?

True you could - I think I've made more over the past 7 mos - plus get to play on his account.

Lol, do this with 10+ accounts at once.. steal small amounts of materials at a time, and gold.. something hardly noticeable.

+rep, only problem is the person might kick you off and if your in the middle of an instance/raid your screwd...he would change the pass asap.
