doesnt matter because hardly anybody ever fell for this and if they are stupid enough to fall for it in the first place then u can probably still scam them. And here is the truth it doesnt matter how many times ppl post about our scams no one ever reads them. I have seen the scams ppl post on Markee and they only get about 15 hits and its usually by ppl that wouldnt fall for the anyways

A. This was not originally invented by MMOwned by any means. Phishing has been around since the internet existed, and that particular email was just made by a random person.

There have been many edits done to it by MMOwned users, and there have been tips and tricks on how to use it, but saying that MMOwned invented this scam is like saying George Washington invented guerilla warfare.

B. They're right on one part: the spelling and grammar in that email is atrocious. And most MMOwned users indeed can't spell, but that can't be helped since most of everyone here is from Europe, and I definitely can't blame someone who's trying to speak English when it isn't their first language. People who were born in America/Britain/Canada/Australia, and still can't type for shit, though, have no excuse.

You know, lots of people read forums on MMOwned.... many times it's to learn about scams so they can avoid them. When they saw that this was a popular scam, they evidently felt the need to do something right and told WoW trades about it.
