Selling gold scam

If you end up selling gold heres what i do.

I find the website i want to sell the gold to. i talk to them and try to get as much as possible for my gold.

After you sell the gold go and reset your password.

then log into wow and open a ticket saying your account was hacked and that they took your gold/items.

wait a few days and then Blizz will mail you your gold and items, which in turn can be sold again for money.

Do not sell the gold on the same character and then keep opening a ticket, if possible use a different account because if you over use this, it could get you banned.

I've done it about 3 times and havent been banned yet.

Blizzard does NOT restore gold I've tried this scam and thats what a gm told me

As long as you act like your account was hacked and maybe wait like a day between the selling of the gold and the retrieving of the password you should be able to get the items and gold back. Its not 100% guaranteed but i have been able to do it 3 times successfully.
