Alright, first off, if this is a repost, please don't flame. I searched and the similar threads didn't find anything.

Second, I tried this at Target, but it'll probably work at WalMart.


1. Go into Target/Walmart.

2. Buy a 60 or 30 day card. Whichever you want, doesn't really matter. I got a 60 day. ***REQUEST A GIFT RECEIPT. We're going to be pretending it's a gift.***

3. Go home, scratch the key, and write it down on a piece of paper or use it for your account.

4. Now, give it [the card] to your brother or sister or someone that looks like they play WoW.

5. Whoever you give it to is going to be returning it. Make sure they have the gift receipt and the case of the gamecard.

6. When returning the card at Target/WalMart, whoever's returning it is to say this:

"I tried putting the code in on the website but it says that the code is already in use. I'd like to return this gamecard because it's just giving me too much trouble."

They WILL give you some trouble, I will guarantee you that. You have to be VERY mad at them. Stick to your point, the card doesn't work. You're an unhappy customer because you're not getting what you payed for! Just keep that in mind and try to keep a straight/angry face. >=O

7. They SHOULD either give you a refund for the purchase (most likely in store credit or sometimes a full cash refund) or exchange your gamecard and getting another one. Grats, you're a scammer.


I tried this at Target last night and it went along so smoothly.

For Step 4, it doesn't have to be someone young, I gave it to my dad and he doesn't look that young.

This isent free. You will have to buy one and then get a new one for free.

this usually wont work because on the card it should say no refunds after the cover has been scratched. what you do if you really want to get a refund is start causing a scene and yelling until the manager comes then start yelling at him until he says im sure we can work something out. then you got the card and alot of times some store credit

This will work because if you say the code's already used, they HAVE to give you a new one because it looks like the company's mistake for putting a used card back on the shelves.

If they say you can't get a refund, tell them that your lawyer thinks you can get a refund.


And as I said, this worked PERFECTLY for me last night.

yea if you say your lawyer said you can they are going to laugh in ur face. No one is going to talk to their lawyer about a cd key that doesnt work. And they will tell you to have your lawyer contact them and that they will explain that once the key cover is scratched they can no longer give you a refund.

Heh, I'm saying that they're going to give you a refund whether they like it or not.

If they do believe what I said about the code not working, it's their fault for putting a used card back on the shelves. They're going to have to refund.
