I have done this a few times on my server and made ~10,000G by now, Here are the steps to selling guilds for big profit:

Tip: It makes it a lot easier if you have a bunch of 70 friends who will do it with you.

1. Start a guild with a cool name, this is where alt-codes come in for me, I used Syndícate <--- My "i" is an "í" alt code 161. Just google alt codes.

2. Invite a bunch of randoms and your group of friends (i have 15 level 70 friends/alts who i do this with.)

3. Go in /2 and say: "Selling guild 'Syndícate', have tabard, bank, and raiding kara, pst me with offer"

4. Get a pst with a decent offer, if its not a good offer just don't respond.

5. Haggle to raise the price.

6. After you agree upon a price, Invite them to the guild. Collect payment. Make them guild leader and leave the guild.

7. Wait about an hour and have your alt (who is still in the guild with all privileges) ninja all of your stuff back from the bank.

8. When the leader logs off, have all of your friends leave the guild and join a new one that you can sell again

The most I have made from selling one guild is 2,000G so its a pretty good profit and it only takes a few hours to set up after you get the hang of it.

You are selling the guild, not just take the money.
It's not your falt if all the others leave.
