| Act like a friend [NO REPOST] I thought of this when I heard of the chat bug. I'll explain it because it is vital for this scam. Do like this: *First you write something in the chat, dont press enter. *Then you spam spaces until the writing marker is at the end of the chat log. *Then you write [name of the person you're acting as]: "Message" So what do I need? *An account(preferably scammed, because this might get you scammed, not trial) *Some social skills *Some improvisation skills *some luck So how does this help up in scamming? It can help you with various in-game scams. For example: *the dnd guide [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] Credits to Biospecies *Various keylogger/phising sites You name it. There is probably more, I just dont feel for looking trough all scams that is posted here and found those that works. So how do I do it? 1. You go somewhere busy, like IF/outside IF, Shattrath, SW, etc. Find 2 people who are talking. If they seem like friends, move on to the next step. 2. Write down the names on those characters. 3. Repeat untill you got a bunch of names(make sure they're sorted in a good way so you know which char was friend with which. 4. Wait for a while and then /who both persons, if both are online, skip to the next pair of friends. If noone are online, skip to the next pair of friends. If one of them is online, go to step 5. 5. Start talking with him on the scammed account, don't use the chat exploit yet. It can be anything from "gold plx" or "hey, can you tell me how to come to outland" Just say something, he might answer and you can reply back, then next time he answers, then use the exploit. 6. Talk both as you and as his friend. 7. Persuade him to do whatever you want with him to do(not that kinds of thing you pervert!) For example, talk with him(acting like the friend) about plaer rating and how awesome it is. (Look here [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] for guide to scam with dnd and player rating. You might also say something along with: "Hey I found this awesome program, check it out www. I want to get scammed . com and make it a keylogger. Or you could say something like, to watch your player rating you must log in at WoWs plyer rating website *link him to a phising site* I hope you got what I meant. As I said, you can probably improve many in-game scams with this. Warning: You can probably get banned by this, but I only think that would happend if he realizes that his friend is really not online, and its you pulling the strings. |

| Let the Flaming begin. Alright for one, everyones screen and chat box size are different! Trying to scam A high lvl with this wont work, because they notice everything. And really, if your talking to him as his friend and you and the mssgs come at the exact same time? No, not goin 2 work. Srry. You might be able to on a lvl 1-10 char thats new to the game, because of the default chat box, but theres no gain in that. Thanks for trying to contribute though.

| I think the chat window might be manipulated manually by addons and changing the resulotion, otherwise I think the chat window stays the same. And yes, most 70's does notice most things, but as I stated, you need a bunch of luck for this scam to work, but so does most scams. Yes, the messages comes at the same time, but that's where the luck skills come in, I usally get alot of whispers as a lvl 70, and I would probably not notice the messages coming at the same time. |

| Well its far from foolproof... and the person who you are scamming should really be dumb... It'd be a red flag for me when someone does it because I have timestamps on |
