Preparation
1. Have a server with a not so active AH
2. Be late at night (Midnight or later)
3. Have some money! Obvious! ( You need money to make money )
The Scam
1. Ok First go to the AH and check for a weapon that there is only 1 of. Very good if its an EPIC or RARE for lvl 19,29,39,49...etc!
2. Now remember the price. I used a sword Bloodrazor ( lvl 50 ) Cost 274g
3. Say on the Trade channel and say Selling <WEAPON NAME> for <Much less than remembered price> 140g!
4. You get a whisper from a guy!
CHAT LOG:
Buyer : Hey there! You selling <Item Name>
You : Yes
Buyer: Where are you
-- Check where he is with /who --
You : Say somewhere very far from him (i.e, he was in Ironforge, I said Exodar)
Buyer: Ok! I come to you -OR- Can you come to me!
You : Look, i gtg! I COD it k?
Buyer: k!
5. Buy a skinning knife, wrapping paper.
6. Send it to him and wait for COD money!
7. Send money to Main ( unless this is your main )
8. Logout!, GOODBYE

ADDITION FUN :
A1 : Before Logout, say: "shit, was gonna buy off AH for 150g, Haven't got enough cash!"
A2 : Get a char name of a Hardcore gamer that is on DND/AFK
A3 : Tell the buyer that "the hardcore gamers name" is yours!
A4 : Then logout, and the buyer will Annoy the Gamer really much!

they can shift click your name and if they see you lied about where u at they will prob start thinkin its a scam.. other than that its pretty good.. but i guess just make sure your in a city like exodar or smc because most ppl not there so will want a cod

True! When i just pulled this scam about 1/2hr ago. It worked fine!
I made 140g in 8 minutes.
Thats 1300g an hour!

People in the MMO community are getting smarter. 99/100 people will not buy a wrapped item. Period. This is one of the oldest scams in the book and everyone (scammer and non-scammer alike) will see right through this.

Oh but it works for me! Since i posted my first post 15minutes ago. Ive scammed 3 people for around 130g to 150g each!

130x3 = 390
150x3 = 450

390 - 450 g per 15minutes (1600g-2000g an hour)

In 3 hours! ( You have Epic Flight!)

Note! ( it works even better if you announce the sell on /1 General and say Wisp me for Item Link )

Because you can change cities
