| Arena Respecc Scam
So this is my first real scam post that i have made, the only way i have contributed before this is giving away some accounts so i help that this helps someone. Please don't flame just give constructive criticism or whatever. (By the way i searched respec scam so i don't think this is a repost but it may very well be.
In this scam you can be any class (preferably raid spec if they are smart enough to spec). It's good to have an arena team of any size but you can join one and hope the members are nice or want to do well.
Now on to the scam!
Keep an eye in trade chat for arena teams either lfm or lf one (if you have one to start with). Works best if they are either badly geared or just looking for points for the week. Play around 5 games (you might wanna purposefully bomb a couple) but make sure it seems like the team has some hope. After you play those 5 or so games say "Damn, maybe i should respecc im raid specced right now, you think i should". They'll say "Ya of course" or something. After they agree to it say EITHER "Oh shit i forgot i don't have any money can i borrow *insert amount you want (nothing more than 60g, the max isnt 50 because of having to learn new skills, the worse you're doing or if it's just for points the less you should ask)* i'll pay you back when i get the money" or "Shit I don't have any money on this char right now and if send money from my bank we'll have to leave queue and wait for an hour, can i borrow *amount of money* for it". This isn't too much money for most 70s but a fair amount to get, almost everyone will have at least a couple hundred gold so they will probably lend you 50 or so.
After you get that money you can either leave the team (or kick them if it's your own) or you can keep playing games with them and every once in a while ask to borrow 30 or 40 or 50 more gold for enchants and gems and stuff. This only works if you keep playing with them without logging.
Ok thanks for reading and bring on the flames! Probably isn't such a great scam due to the fact you must be 70, it takes a little bit of time and you don't get too much money, but it might be fun to try!
EDIT: you could just go straight for gems and enchants but raise the price you need say 100g or so (everyones knows those gems are expensive!) might end up getting more money.   |
