I got scammed last night while selling my acc...

So I put my acc on craigslist (Apparently that was a bad idea) and I had tons of offers.. Soo this guy made a deal with me and all and he was a bit bad with english and almost as if he was using a online translator. I didn't mind that because I wanted the account sold. After he sent a payment and all, I quickly put the acc onto battle.net on a seperate e-mail account and I gave him all the info including the e-mail account. About 30 minutes later he changes the acc password and e-mail address.

He charged the money back this morning (It say's its on hold by paypal).

I know it probably won't be hard for me to get my account back, but should I wait to see how paypal resolves it or call blizzard immidietly?

If I don't get the money, at least what I want to do is have him spend his valuable time on the acc and then take it back so he has something to lose too.

Thanks

Sounds like a chinese scammer call blizzard asap, chances are the money he sent you was from a stolen paypal so theres no way you will win the dispute, you should of seen this coming.

Firsty you should of asked him to give you a call and second should of made him send you a ID scan pic of him and a email from the one attachted to the paypal account, if he isnt willing to do atleast 2/3 of these things then hes most defo a scammer. And paypal is very bad to use for account trading get moneybookers or do a bank to bank, only safe way imo.

I'd not do that, All they do is strip the accounts and sell all the gold

First off all id contact paypal and explain that he cannot chargeback since he bought a product from you (use some proof w/e, the paypal might also be legal who knows), then when you have your money, also get the wow account back by phoning/emailing blizzard.

Then get on skype/msn/aim/we and have some fun talking to him

Really sorry mate, just for the future if you do this again, use markeedragon and look for people with feedback. The best thing to do is (of course) to sell it to someone in your own country at some internet café.
