Question about paypal recall

Yesterday there was a guy selling gold in trade, so I asked him to sell me 15k of gold.
I paid for the gold through paypal and received the gold in game, then I opened a dispute on payal saying I didnt receive the thing I bought.
question is : Will I win this recall or not?
Thanks
edit: my paypal is verified and I use it to buy in ebay since a lot of time.

Well, so what would be the problem to just scam goldseller sites in this way then?

thx madrock, but in the dispute I said I didnt receive the thing, and paypal if I remember well doesnt cover the money of virtual things.
Did I have to say ''I didnt authorize the transaction'' ?

no, cause they'll track down the IP and immediately see that you was the one buying the gold, so it was ok claiming that you didn't receive sh1t. You'll win the case say to 99 % not only 90 cause paypal isn't liable for virtual property so plain-talking the gold / account seller is ****ed up and can't do anything but consulting a lawyer or the police and I fairly doubt he's gonna do this.. as already said you'll win, certainly you can repeat this coulpe of times but don't blow the sh1t out of all proportions cause eventually they'll get suspicious bout that though actually paypal can't do anything about that as the evidence of delivery isn't existing, correct me if I'm wrong

Paypal isn't going to go to the police.. not for that amount you reversed. You will more than likely win the dispute because paypal sides with the buyer all the time. But if you are going to keep doing that you may need new paypals soon. I can help you with that.

Its hard to tell with items that arent tangible. One of the things it depends on is account type, most of the time a business or verified account will win over a regular account, im sure they also take past transactions into consideration.

Like the idea with the new paypals, the only prob is to get some real Ca$h on them in order to get urself some decent amount of gold or an high end account. The bottom line is paypal won't do anything in favour of the account seller even though they come to the conclusion the account owner is being played for a sucker! in fact the rules are:
-paypal isn't liable for virtual property so they actually don't even care if you'r trying to gyp so. (see General Terms and Conditions). The only thing they'll do is to is to hand out ur IP to the police or some lawyer assigned by the account owner if it comes to the crunch but that's pretty unrealistic as Blizz underbits any account transmissions and in fact noone would run to the cops claiming his beloved acc is gone right? at least not in Germany where i'm from - the German kids got hell lot of money to satisfy their addiction (ebay accounts ftw ^___^)

Well actually, in the Netherlands 2 boys got sentenced juvenal hall because of stealing runescape gold (or whatever the valuta is called there). The judge said that even though the money is virtual, they still do have a personal value to the person and that would make it real.

So no, just because you're scamming virtual things doesn't mean you can't get punished for it or noone will take any action.

sure but like you said they scammed it and scamming is not the same like buying gold as it's forbidden. In this case onone is gonna scam shi1t, just recall his money whereas selling virtual things isn't allowed, correct me if I'm wrong. Also Blizz doesn't like the conception of other guys selling they own property at all, so anyone selling knowingly gold or accounts and at the same time offering paypal as paying method, this person has to take into account of being played for a sucker so shi1t happenz... you certainly won't get sentenced for that that's for show

Ya, you'll most likely win. Paypal always goes with the buyer for most things. Sometimes its annoying though when you scam someone but then the other person is a scammer so they dispute it and they pretty much always win =/

So one of the gold buyers I used to work with supposedly recently had some of their gold deleted and as a consequence disputed every single one of the transactions I ever had with them ><. I tried talking to them and they agreed that if the money they had deleted got refunded they'd drop the other disputes but after doing so they left the disputes open... Forwarding this correspondence to Paypal and escalating the other disputes I am very curious to see what will come of this seeing as how 10 out of the 11 disputes they filed were purely in an effort to exert pressure on me and they never even tried to resolve this before disputing the transactions...

So I am very good friends with a Chinese company who can send money to your paypal up to 800 per paypal. You've probably talked to them when you make your WTS account scam and you've placed 12k gold in your post to get their attention. They've sent you money via paypal which you then go buy gold/power level or whatever. Anyway point is, I am very good friends with them, there are about 6 of them, they work from a cubicle office in China. I can have them send you money and you have about 5 minutes to go buy w/e til it gets reversed.

If you are tired of waiting for the Chinese to msg you, then you need to come to me and I will have them send to your paypal. I may require some sort of compensation and we will discuss that when you message me.

Yes before you ask me, they really do work in a cubicle scamming accounts as their job. There are 6 of them and yes I do have pictures as I video skype with them everyday.

Also I would like to make this a post but I can't create a new topic cause of my rep =(
