how long after i sell an account can someone do a credit card chargeback? if i sold an account in january, can they still do a credit card chargeback?

Dunno about your country but in my i have to go to court to do cc chargeback :P so its not that easy i wouldnt be afraid

Actually, chargebacks differ per country and credit card company. What I know is that most chargebacks can only be within 30/40 days of payment. Afaik if they don't report it within the time frame they should've got an insurance on it to secure atleast some of the money.

But don't pin me down on it.

Nope, I believe most companies are something like 120days... I know it's more then 30/40 but 120 may not be exact.

Doing a credit card charge back is very hard and most the time they need to go to court to do it, but i believe its longer than 30 days. Sometimes it could be a year usually depending how serious the matter is. If you gave us some more info we may be able to help better.

If your planning on recalling an account i wouldnt bother tbh its not worth it, because more than lightly the account will end up banned.
