After selling a pretty leet account, the user xferred the character to a new account.

After about 2/3 days, the account was recalled.

After about another 2/3 days, the character transfer was REVERTED.

Discuss.

EDIT: Account sold was scammed, and also US.

Account owner contacted Blizzard to have it restored...or am i missing something here?

this is 100% correct. what happens when the person who you took the toon and xfrd it calls blizzard and trys to gain access to his/her account, blizzard

also checks and makes sure that no characters have been transfered or baned for whatever reason! .. therfore everything everything is reversed...but, they might have to show proof of ownership by sending or faxing them a piece of identification. :P this is usualy asked for to unmerge a regular wow account out of battle.net account

they can pull a toon back to the account for 90 days. This was told to me by cust service when helping recover a friends hacked account.
